Michigan:
An Indian American former executive of Groupon is anticipating to win a seat in Michigan’s 11th Congressional District.

Suneel Gupta, a Democrat, an undergraduate from University of Michigan, a law and M.B.A. student from Northwestern University, has been a booming entrepreneur. He even served as a co-founder and chief executive of Mobile Health Company with his male sibling, that uses technology to lessen the cost of quality health care.

Subsequently serving numerous patients by Mobile Health Company, Michelle Obama asked to be her team’s official technology partner, together delivering health coaching to lower income areas of the country.

“President Donald Trump’s immigration polices led me running for the seat. It is literally the moment that I realized my daughter’s first president is going to be Donald Trump and knowing that when he wants to “Make America Great Again,” he wants a few less people that look like us around,” said Gupta.

If elected, Gupta described that inexpensive quality health care for all is the top of issues that he want to address, including a world-class education for every student by preventing for-profit charter schools, reducing crushing student loan debt for parents & students and to empower ever student to pursue higher education and a return to democracy.

Over 40 percent of Asian American voters are undetermined and unaffiliated. According to Pew Research Report, Asian American voters were turned off by the Republican Party and Trump rhetoric over immigration. More than 70 percent of Asian adults in United States are born abroad.

The current representative of 11th Congressional District is David Trott, a Republican who is not seeking the re-election of 2018.

The Michigan’s primary election is going to take place on August 7th of 2018.
