The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 was presented at the Galaxy Unpacked event. This new foldable phone, which looks like a book, uses Qualcomm&039;s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor made for Galaxy devices. The Fold 7 is lighter and thinner compared to older Galaxy foldable phones; it's only 4.2mm thick when unfolded and weighs 215 grams. On the back, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 has three cameras, including a primary camera with 200 megapixels. The phone&039;s screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2. The Galaxy Z Fold 7, which has a 4,400mAh battery, is now available for pre-order in India. The starting cost for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 in India is Rs. 1,74,999 for the version with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The prices for the versions with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage and 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage are Rs. 1,86,999 and Rs. 2,10,999, respectively. It is available in colors like Blue Shadow, Jetblack, and Silver Shadow. There will also be a special Mint color only available online.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is currently available for pre-order on Samsung&039;s official website, and sales are expected to begin on July 25. As part of a pre-order promotion, customers have the opportunity to purchase the 12GB + 512GB version for the same price as the 256GB model. This special deal is available until July 12. The dual-SIM Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 uses Android 16 with One UI 8 on top. It has an 8-inch QXGA+ (1,968 x 2,184 pixels) Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity Flex Display on the inside, which has a refresh rate of 120Hz that adjusts as needed, a pixel density of 368ppi, and a maximum brightness of 2,600 nits. The phone has a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,520 pixels) Dynamic AMOLED 2X cover display with a pixel density of 422ppi and a refresh rate of 120Hz that adjusts as needed. The external display has a 21:9 aspect ratio. The cover display of the device is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, while the back is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. In addition, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 includes a Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset and can have up to 16GB of RAM. It is made with an Armor FlexHinge. The device comes with many AI features like Gemini Live, AI Results View, Circle to Search, Drawing Assist, and Writing Assist.

To take pictures, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 has three cameras on the back, with the main one being 200 megapixels and having Quad Pixel autofocus, image stabilization, and a view of 85 degrees. The camera setup also includes a 12-megapixel super wide camera and a 10-megapixel zoom camera that can zoom in 3x without losing quality. If you want to take selfies or have video chats, there is a 10-megapixel camera on the front screen and another 10-megapixel camera on the screen inside. This phone uses a newer version of Samsung&039;s ProVisual Engine to help process images. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 will come with different amounts of storage space, including 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. It can connect to 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4. It has several sensors like an accelerometer, barometer, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, hall sensor, light sensor, and proximity sensor. It also has a fingerprint scanner on the side to keep it secure and has a stronger Armor Aluminum frame. It still has the IP48 rating, meaning it can handle some water and dust like the Galaxy Z Fold 6 from last year.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 uses a 4,400mAh battery that charges at 25W, just like the last model. Samsung says that you can charge the phone to 50% in half an hour if you use a 25W charger. It also works with Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 and Wireless PowerShare. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is easier to carry and not as bulky as older versions. When you open it up, it is 4.2mm thick, and when you close it, it is 8.9mm thick. The phone weighs 215 grams. To give you an idea, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 was 12.1mm thick when closed and 5.6mm thick when open, and it weighed 239 grams.
