Brandford fest screens 12 Indian classics

Brandford international film festival will kick off tomorrow. The film festival is going to pay tributes to Indian cinema as it celebrates its centenary. Named Happy Birthday to Indian Cinema, the special programme dedicated to Indian cinema screens as many as 12 classic Indian movies that includes Raja Harishchandra, Mughal-e-Azam, Silsila, The Chess Players (by Satyajit Ray), Mother India and Dilwale Dulhaniya Lejayenge. 

All Indians and people across the globe will get a chance to watch India's best 12 movies. Thanks to Brandford international film festival. It has to be mentioned here that in terms of producing films no country as prolific as India. Some of the film makers from India such as Satyajit Ray and Shyam Benegal have received critical acclaim at the international level.
