Thousands of illegal people staying in the United States are being detained by the agents of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement from all over the nation in various places, including offices, roads, homes, with families, but this time the agents were rather hungry, so they first decided to have breakfast at a restaurant in Michigan before arresting three people working there, according to media reports.

The owner of the restaurant said that ICE agents who were conducting enforcement at the business ate breakfast and complimented the chef before arresting three workers.

Two of the men arrested on Wednesday at Sava’s Restaurant remain in custody. The third man was released after showing his permanent resident to the agents.

The ICE officials said that their agents were doing “a targeted enforcement action” at the Ann Arbor restaurant.

The officials said that two of the men entered the Untied States illegally and the other person overstayed his visa. The men tried to escape from the restaurant before being arrested. The men were handcuffed and briefly detained.

Sava Lekcaj, who is the owner of the restaurant said that several agents came to the restaurant located at the University of Michigan, and two ate breakfast at the restaurant bar. One ordered waffles and bacon and the other ordered eggs and toast. Lelcaj said they praised the food before entering the kitchen area.

Rachael Yong Yow, who is a spokesperson for the ICE said in a statement the agency uses numerous techniques during enforcement, but could not comment on whether agents ate at the restaurant.

The owner said that her restaurant employees vets employees to determine their eligibility and that she had believe that they were in the United States legally. She also said that she came into the country as an illegal immigrant in 1980s, but became a citizen and now owns three restaurants.
