Mahendra Singh Dhoni, India’s ODI cricket captain, has signed his first endorsement deal outside India. He agreed to be the brand ambassador of Grand Midwest Group for a period of three years. Grand Midwest Group is a hospitality and event management company based in Dubai, established by UAE businessman Zafar Shah Khan. The Group owns hotel properties in UK, Dubai and Ireland.

According to a press release, “It is announced today that Dubai-based premium hospitality & event management company Grand Midwest Group has signed a three-year multi-million dollar deal with MS Dhoni as its official brand ambassador.”

Currently, the company owns a local cricket team in the UAE and is interested in the entertainment business in India. GM Sports is the event management arm of the group.
