Sensational filmmaker Shankar is focused on his next outing titled 2.0 which marks the costliest ever film made in the history of Indian cinema. Made on a whopping budget of Rs 350 crores, the movie features Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role. Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar is essaying the role of the lead antagonist and Amy Jackson is the female lead. 2.0 is in its last schedule which has been planned to be wrapped up by the mid of March.

Amy Jackson has been relieved from the film’s shoot for which she allotted bulk dates. She has a prominent role to play which has been kept under wraps despite of several rumors. The actress will be seen as a robo in the film and she will be performing some power packed stunts in the film. The movie will have a huge dose of VFX effects and AR Rahman is composing the music. Produced by Lyca Productions, 2.0 will hit the screens during Diwali in 3D.
