Pi Day is not exclusive to those, which are filled with apple and cherries.
The celebration held annually on the 14th of March applies to pizza, too, and one pizza chain with several business locations in Michigan is offering its pies for discount prices. Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza is inviting people to build their own artisanal pizzas for the super low price of $3.14.
Blaze has multiple locations in Michigan, in Allen Park, Ann Arbor, Kalamazzo, Lansing, Novi and Royal Oak. Few new locations are coming soon to Auburn Hills and East Lansing.
015 W. Main St., in Kalamazoo is the only location in West Michigan that will participate all day from 11 a.m. to midnight.
"When it comes to delicious, fast and affordable pizza, there is no shortage of reasons to celebrate," Rodney Walker, Owner and President of Blaze Midwest, Inc.
"This Pi Day we are encouraging Kalamazooans to think outside the box by creating their own pizza just the way they like it, for just $3.14."
The food chain’s Pi Day celebration will also include special “behind the scenes” coverage on Facebook Live and Snapchat, where people can win free pizzas.
Blaze Pizza debuted in 2012, each of their location features interactive open-kitchen format that allows guests to customize one of the menu’s signature pizzas or create their own.
The food-chain uses blazing hot open ovens and prepares their own dough from scratch using a recipe developed by critically acclaimed Executive Chef Bradford.
All the Blaze Pizza restaurants across the United States and Canada are participating except restaurants at Disney Springs, Huston Airport and Los Angeles’ Staples Center.
